So your in class or on a date and you get a text and its from one of our mates, interesting stuff is happening with this text conversation but you don't wanna get caught. here are a few tips on how to secretly be on your phone.

# So this one probably everyone knows but its when you use something to obstruct the veiw of your phone from others such as a folder or if your on a date try and use a menu if you in a resturant or if your out getting coffee use your cup. When doing this have an excuse in case you get caught, such as "I was reading my notes" or "im looking at what to get I like most of the food here" or if your using your coffee cup (preferably be at starbucks) say "just looking at the drawings they did".
# Try to not stare at your phone for too long, every 2-3 seconds of looking at your phone look up for a while then back down. Try to use an advantage of when the perosn you are hiding your phone from looks away use it but dont get confident and keep checking they are not looking at you.
# Remain confident, this applies to all the methods because with confidence comes power and if you can be confident with your facial expression, body and speech people will be less likely to question it.

# this is a basic step but becomes awkward if you repeat it multiple times, its when you 'accidently' drop something and you lean down to pick it up, this gives you a few seconds but if you want to buy more time to read or reply to the text then act as if you are struggling to pick it up.
# You can also pretend to drop something and play it with confidence as if you did, the trick to this is do not hesitate and just as soon as you do 'drop' it lean down to pick it up.
# Do not repeat it multiple times. For one you are going to look like a right idiot if you keep on dropping the exact same pen again and again, try to use this technique only once or twice and maybe three times. But also people may start to realise something is up if you've dropped something again and again.
