Get Down a Minecraft Ravine

In Minecraft survival mode, one of the things that is mandatory to do is mine. Sometimes, though, you just don't feel like digging down and creating your own mine, or going through a deep, dark cave. This is where ravines come in. They're those big cracks in your world that go down for many blocks. There are many ways to get to the bottom of it, but I'm going to tell you 4 of them. If you have any more, feel free to comment! Hope this helps!

== Steps ==

=== The Stairs ===

# Grab some blocks or stairs, maybe some extra cobblestone you have around. These will be the stairs you will use to climb down. Depending on the size of the ravine, you may need more or less blocks. I would reccomend bringing a stack.

# Head to the ravine, and place your blocks, starting at the top, at a diagonal, going downwards.

# Keep repeating Step 2 until you reach the bottom. You may need to work around blocks that jut out, but you should end up with some pretty good stairs. You may want to add a railing to make things safe, but you don't need to do that.

=== Ladders ===

# This method is pretty simple. Just craft some ladders, and place them on the inside face of the ravine wall.

=== Natural WaterFall ===

# Sometimes, you can find a waterfall coming off the side of the ravine. Carefully, ride down it to the bottom. You can also climb back up it.

=== Player-Made WaterFall ===

# If you don't see a waterfall rolling down the side, why not make one? Fill a bucket with water, and make your way to the ravine. Pour the water on the inside wall, and wait for it to go all the way down. Then, ride down it! That's it!

== Tips ==

* Sneak (shift) a lot. It will help you from falling to your doom.

* To make it easier for going up and down on the stair method, craft your blocks into stairs.

== Warnings ==

* Be careful, most ravines are more than 23 blocks deep, so you will die if you fall.

* Watch out for lavafalls!
