Some tablets even come with such a function preinstalled. Just browse through the app store and download the app you like most.

# If you don't have an old tablet, there's always the option to buy an electronic picture frame. You can get them from $25 upwards with the resolution and options growing with the price. Almost all of them accept SD-Cards. So stick your SD card into it and enjoy looking at potos from last year's holiday!

* When buying the inexpensive Chromecast, you get lots of additional features, for example the ability to stream Netflix, Hulu or Youtube onto your TV.
